Our Business Restructuring TeamThe Business Restructuring team at BDO Australia is a dynamic and rapidly growing practice that specializes in corporate insolvency, business restructuring, and turnaround management. Our team works on a wide range of engagements, including corporate restructures, sales of businesses, independent business reviews, safe harbor reviews, litigation matters, and general external administration work.
Current OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our Melbourne Business Restructuring team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and work on career-defining engagements.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and progress formal insolvency appointments, including voluntary administrations, receiverships, and liquidations.
- Formulate and recommend strategies on complex matters that add value to our clients.
- Engage with stakeholders, including lenders and creditors, to manage risk and ensure successful outcomes.
- Develop and implement financial models, including cash flow 3-way models, and attend to reporting protocols.
- Identify and pursue legal claims and investigations in a timely manner.
- Build and develop relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and coach junior staff members.
- Tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA qualifications (or ARITA qualification).
- Experience with independent business reviews is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Prior experience managing staff is highly beneficial.
