Job Summary:

A seasoned natural resource manager is sought to spearhead our environmental team in executing meticulous natural area treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans from inception through completion, ensuring seamless execution and excellent client satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain precise documentation and procedures throughout each project, incorporating thorough monitoring and reporting aligned with project and client requirements.
  • Support the tendering process for large projects and prepare quotes for smaller initiatives as needed.
  • Communicate directly with clients, providing expert guidance, advice, direction, project plans, pricing schedules, and informed counsel.
  • Lead and manage the natural resources team, including performance evaluations, reviews, training, and development, while fostering high morale and harmony.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Cert III in Conservation & Land Management or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum two years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proven planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management.
  • Practical experience in budgeting and quoting for projects.
  • Extensive leadership, mentorship, and supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge and practical skills in weed control/management techniques.
  • Experience in medium to large scale plantings.
  • Hands-on experience with power tools (chainsaws, augers, hedge trimmers etc.).
  • Manual, unrestricted driver's license.
  • White card/Safety Construction Card.
  • ACDC license.
  • First Aid & CPR certificate.
