Role Overview
The Discipline Lead for Physiotherapy Services is responsible for overseeing the effective management of human, physical, and financial resources within the Physiotherapy Services. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy care that aligns with the strategic goals of the Agency. The incumbent will also engage actively in the Allied Health Executive Committee, representing both Physiotherapy and Allied Health as necessary.

Appointment Details
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 76 hours of work per fortnight, with a start date to be determined with the successful candidate.
Compensation: The salary range is $154,015 - $155,947 per annum, with an additional 11.5% superannuation contribution from the employer.
Employees will have access to a salary package that includes various benefits, such as living expenses up to $9,010 and $2,650 for meal entertainment each FBT year, along with other eligible benefits.
Additional allowances may be available based on the salaried incremental point, including:
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1,000 per annum.
Essential Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
Desirable Qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification or program of study recognized by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
Pre-employment Checks:
The Head of the State Service mandates that the selected candidate undergo a pre-employment check, which includes:
- Conviction checks in specified areas, including:
- Violent crimes
- Sex-related offenses
- Serious drug offenses
- Crimes involving dishonesty
- Disciplinary actions from previous employment.
