We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated care assistant to join our team at Uniting's aged care home.

About the Role
  • This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to residents living in our aged care home, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
  • You will be responsible for providing daily living assistance, such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes, and general mobility, as well as assisting with medication and simple wound dressings.
  • As part of our team, you will also have the opportunity to support residents in community-based recreational and social activities, promoting a sense of connection and community.
About You
  • We are looking for someone with a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support or an equivalent qualification. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, we can help you get there.
  • Prior experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care if you're studying or have recently become qualified, is highly valued.
  • Able to live Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold, you will be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful in this role.
