Are you looking for a leadership role that combines technical expertise with collaborative skills?

We are seeking an Agile Delivery Lead to join our team for 12-months, working on a hybrid schedule based at our global head office in Melbourne.

In this role, you will lead delivery within the Retail Product Team to implement a major upgrade to our global Point of Sale (POS) system and support ongoing changes to the platforms and systems used by our retail stores globally.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working autonomously but also flexible in their work hours/arrangements to accommodate regular regional/global meetings across Asia, ANZ, Americas, and Europe time zones.

Responsibilities
  • Lead one or more teams on delivery to achieve high-quality outcomes
  • Take ownership of and facilitate relevant agile ceremonies such as planning sessions, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, backlog replenishment sessions, and backlog refinement sessions
  • Work closely with product owners to break down and plan features and initiatives
  • Ensure a steady flow of work at a sustainable pace by taking ownership of team capacity management
  • Identify, raise, and remove impediments to enable optimal workflow
  • Take ownership of identified risks and issues, mitigating, resolving, or escalating as required
Requirements
  • Considerable experience in a Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, Project Manager, or similar role with a strong technical delivery background
  • Exposure to Agile values and practices such as Scrum
  • Able to build effective relationships within the team, stakeholders, and broader organization, coupled with strong influencing skills
  • Expertise in facilitating agreement across various stakeholders to drive timely alignment and enable delivery within required timeframes
  • A high level of emotional intelligence along with strong interpersonal and communication skills
