Primary Care Urgent Care Physician Needed

Providing short-term, episodic care for urgent conditions that are not immediately life-threatening is a crucial aspect of our clinic's service delivery.
- Short-term care focuses on addressing non-life-threatening issues promptly.
Our purpose-built facility boasts dedicated nursing and administration support, private urgent care triage rooms, treatment beds, and a designated resuscitation area equipped with defibrillator and airway management equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong background in general practice, current registration with AHPRA as a Specialist General Practitioner, and experience in urgent care or emergency medicine. Advanced Skills Training in Emergency Medicine (preferred) and Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) (preferred) are also advantageous.
Key requirements include passion for patient-centered care, strong clinical skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
Eligible candidates may receive financial incentives through Health Workforce Queensland. The position offers permanent full-time opportunities with extended hours of operation: weekdays 8am – 10pm, weekends 9am – 6pm. Professional development scholarships or bursaries may be available.
