Advanced Mechanical Systems Maintenance Expert Required

We seek highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineers - Mechanical to join our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team.

MRO Services support a range of advanced platforms at RAAF Base Amberley, including the Boeing Airpower Teaming System, C-17A Globemaster, F/A-18F Super Hornet, EA-18G Growler, and E-7A Wedgetail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance on advanced mechanical systems.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are incorporated in accordance with approved processes and procedures.
  • Provide direction and instructions to assist subordinate technicians in their development.
  • Participate in aircraft test activities.
  • Domestic and international travel may be required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Certificate IV or equivalent in mechanical engineering.

- Demonstrate sound knowledge of Aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and DASR 145 (or equivalent) Aircraft Maintenance Regulatory Framework.

- Experience working in high-pressure maintenance environments.

- Hold a Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML).

- Ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance of Negative Vetting 1.
