The role of a cyber security expert involves the design, deployment and maintenance of solutions that protect valuable information assets. This position contributes to the management of risk and security strategies for our organization.
This includes identifying and addressing potential threats, implementing effective security controls and ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement enterprise security solutions aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Design and maintain procedures and controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Respond to security incidents and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and technologies.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, SSCP, CCSP, CEH, Microsoft Security Suite.
- At least three years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and protocols.
- Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
