About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to complement and enhance our Cardiology Department at a major health service in South Western Sydney.

This hospital provides a range of state-wide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care, and brain injury rehabilitation.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide research and clinical services within Cardiology.

Key Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Passed FRACP (written and clinical exams), and completed 3 years of core cardiology advanced training or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated competency in invasive coronary angiography
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge in percutaneous coronary intervention
  • Demonstrated excellent clinical skills, judgment, and expertise.
  • Preparedness and ability to work independently in a supervised environment.
  • Demonstrated teamwork within a multidisciplinary team, time management, and problem-solving skills in a complex clinical environment.
  • Demonstrated interest and willingness to teach Junior Medical Staff.
