About Underground Mining

The Maxwell Underground Mine has commenced operations with production projected at up to 8 million tonnes of coal per annum.

As an employee, you will contribute to building a better, safer, and more productive operation.

  • Install, commission, maintain and operate underground mining equipment.
About The Role

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating underground mining equipment, ensuring a safe working environment.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise equipment performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Key Responsibilities:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Underground Coal Mining.
  • A certificate of proficiency in an electrical trade.
  • Solid knowledge of underground mining equipment and machinery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
