Job Overview

The role of a Program Officer is to facilitate the execution and support of educational programs and initiatives within an organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in using relevant software and tools for program management and reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program objectives are met, monitoring and reporting on program progress, providing insights and recommendations, and assisting in preparing documentation, including reports, briefing papers, and correspondence.

In addition, the Program Officer will provide administrative support to the program team as required, identify and address potential risks or issues affecting program delivery, and maintain accurate records ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the implementation of education programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program objectives are met.
  • Monitor and report on program progress, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in preparing documentation, including reports, briefing papers, and correspondence.
  • Provide administrative support to the program team as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
