About the Role

The Support Worker will report to the Housing Facility Manager and provide day-to-day accommodation and care for clients.

  • Provide direct support to clients, including personal care and emotional support
  • Collaborate and empower clients to make sound decisions and informed choices
  • Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being, recording any concerns and reporting those concerns to the relevant clinician
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the facility and enforce house rules as instructed
  • Support a safe and healthy working environment that complies with Occupational Health and Safety requirements
  • Perform domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning when required
  • Maintain up-to-date client records and carry out other administrative duties as required
  • Store clients' medications securely, and only release medicines by doctor's instructions
  • Transport clients to appointments as required

About You

We are looking for someone with experience working in Mental Health or Recovery Centres, an understanding and non-judgmental attitude towards people with drug use and mental health problems, and a passion about helping people with addiction.
