Business Advisory Accountant Job

We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team in North Sydney. The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in Business Advisory or Tax Accounting and will be responsible for delivering services to local and international clients across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary and loan summary for corporate and family groups, including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships, Individuals & SMSFs
  • Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statements
  • Working as part of a team with other intermediate and senior business services accountants
  • Use of MYOB suite, Xero, Class Super
  • Liaising with clients and other external service providers

About You:

  • Between 1 - 3 years experience in Business Advisory/Services or Tax Accounting within Australia
  • Experience with mid to large-size clients across a diverse range of industries
  • SMSF experience ideal
  • Completed a relevant Bachelor of Commerce degree (or equivalent)
  • Started or completed CA/CPA program
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
