Data Manager Professional

Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and reporting timely and accurate submission of statutory datasets in accordance with Department of Health policies and business rules.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and report on datasets including Victorian Admitted Episodes Dataset, Victorian Emergency Minimum Dataset, Elective Surgery Information System, Agency Information Management System, Victorian Integrated Non-Admitted Health Dataset, and Victorian Cost Data Collection
- Develop and implement robust governance to ensure accurate capture and reporting of data, including policy and procedure development, regular audits, full reconciliation, data error management, and internal data control processes
- Assist in targeted staff education and actioning reviews
- Work with a knowledge of the DH business rules and policies, with excellent planning, presentation, and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team to meet deadlines and manage competing demands
