About our firm

We are a specialist Family law practice situated in an inner eastern suburbs location. On offer here is a unique opportunity for a Family Lawyer (1-3 years post admission) who is looking for better work-life balance, exposure to quality matters and enjoys working closer to home.

We provide specialised advice and services across a wide range of family law practice areas. Due to demand, we seek to appoint an additional Family lawyer to the team, with all the infrastructure, resources and support you may need.

Job Summary

In this permanent, on-going role you will enjoy a real sense of satisfaction and achievement assisting clients requiring advice on all aspects of family law. You will appreciate a good level of autonomy, whilst receiving excellent mentoring, having the camaraderie of other professionals and support within our collaborative style culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Family Law experience (minimum 12 months) incl. complex divorce and property settlements; binding financial agreements, child support, children's issues incl. Hague convention, de facto and same sex relationships etc.
  • Experience in dealing with private clients and understanding of taxation and estate planning as it relates to family law
  • Eagerness and ability to handle challenging/complex matters with strong drafting skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
