As a Junior Family Lawyer, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading law firm in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior lawyers with family law matters including divorce, separation, child custody, property division, and spousal maintenance.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare documents, and draft correspondence.
  • Attend client meetings, take instructions, and provide advice.
  • Liaise with clients to keep them informed of case progress.
  • Support preparation for court appearances as experience grows.
  • Maintain high organization and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Admitted to practice law in Victoria.
  • Strong academic record in law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Empathy and understanding of sensitivities involved in family law matters.
