We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lifestyle Care Specialist to join our team at Dudley Foord House, The Ponds, on a permanent part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' needs and preferences to inform individualized care plans;
• Develop and implement engaging lifestyle programs that cater to residents' interests and abilities;
• Foster effective communication with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of services;
• Collaborate with residents and their families to create a welcoming and inclusive community environment;
• Assist residents in creating a personalized living space that reflects their personality and style.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in conducting lifestyle activities and developing care programs;
• Current First Aid Certificate and willingness to obtain Certificate IV in Leisure & Health;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong organizational and time management skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or related field;
• Experience working with older adults or individuals with diverse needs;
• Strong creative skills, including music, art, or cooking;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
