We are currently working with the Western Australian Electoral Commission to provide a workforce for the upcoming state election.

The following roles are available to assist with the election:

Issuing Officer

Issues ballot papers to electors on polling day and performs other duties as required.

  • Rotates as a ballot box guard and queue controller
  • Becomes a counting officer after 6 pm to conduct the count
Student Electoral Officer

Assists in polling place duties performed by officers, with limited hours available.

  • Available on 8th March 2025
  • Time: 7.00 am - 6.00 pm
  • Level: 1.1
Voter Information Officer

Provides assistance to electors with language, literacy, or other requirements.

  • Available from 24th February to 8th March 2025
  • Time: 8.00 am - 6.00 pm (24th February - 7th March 2025) and 7.00 am - 9.00 pm (8th March 2025)
  • Level: 1.1
General Assistant

Assists with the setup of polling places and the count on polling day.

  • Available on 7th and 8th March 2025
  • Time: 3 hours between 3.00 pm - 9.00 pm (7th March 2025) and 5.30 pm - 10.30 pm (8th March 2025)
  • Level: 1.1
Ballot Box Guard

Ensures the correct ballot box papers are put into the ballot boxes.

  • Available on 8th March 2025
  • Time: 7.00 am - 9.00 pm
  • Level: 1.1
Queue Controller

Manages the queue into the polling place and directs electors as needed.

  • Available on 8th March 2025
  • Time: 7.00 am - 9.00 pm
  • Level: 1.1
