About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team in Old Beach 7. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay engaged and connected with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as medication management and assistance with mobility and therapy goals.
  • Offer respite and emotional support, providing a listening ear and a helping hand when needed.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide social support, helping them stay connected with their community.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia.

What We Look For
  • You are passionate about assisting our aged community and have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • You are able to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help.
  • You are available to work at least 3 days - Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
  • You are comfortable working with customers who may have challenging behaviors or needs.
