About the Role

The Senior Maintenance Operations Manager is a key leadership position within Nova Group, responsible for overseeing the planning, preparation, and delivery of maintenance, supply, warehousing, engineering, operational, planning, and data management services. This role will involve leading a team of managers who will report directly to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Commonwealth.
  • Oversee the technical regulation of maintenance support and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Conduct efficiency analysis and implement reporting to drive business improvement.
  • Manage the maintenance of technical data and software rights schedules.
  • Ensure the completion of maintenance work task orders and manage the team's workload.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role within Defence.
  • Experience as a Maintenance Support Manager in an Australian Defence environment with a proven track record is highly desirable.
  • Australian Citizen with an active Baseline AGSVA Security Clearance.
  • Diploma level or higher in Project Management, Maintenance Management, or Engineering.
  • Experience with MS Project and Jira is highly desirable.
  • Experience in complex maintenance systems and financial and statutory compliance.
