About the Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team in Townsville. As a Childcare Educator, your primary responsibility will be to supervise and support a group of primary aged children, fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere that promotes learning and development.

Your duties will include preparing and serving healthy food options, building meaningful relationships with children, families, and the school community, and creating a positive environment that encourages exploration and creativity.

To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and a genuine passion for childcare. You'll also require a valid Paid Blue Card and relevant qualifications or training in early childhood education.

Requirements
  • You are an enthusiastic approach to childcare, with the ability to form positive relationships
  • You have completed, are actively studying or are willing to study a childcare related qualification
  • You hold a valid Paid Blue Card
  • You have First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates or are willing to obtain
  • You have availability on weekdays and/or school holidays
