Key Role Description

The role involves managing customer engagements, supporting their Azure and Databricks environments. Key responsibilities include standing up new environments, managing and optimizing existing ones, and providing best-practice advice to clients on data pipelines and Azure infrastructure.

We seek a candidate with hands-on experience in building scalable data processing solutions using Azure Databricks and associated big data technologies. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Data Engineering concepts, experience with Spark, SQL, and Python programming, and a proven track record of leading teams in data engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct workshops with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to confirm requirements.
  • Lead delivery projects, mentoring and overseeing technical delivery resources.
  • Design and implement solutions using Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and other relevant technologies.
  • Deliver successful outcomes in client engagements, ensuring high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Act as the point of escalation for project-related issues.

Additionally, you will drive continuous improvements of the implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiences.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in building scalable data processing solutions using Azure Databricks.
  • Strong understanding of Data Engineering concepts, including Spark, SQL, and Python programming.
  • Proven track record of leading teams in data engineering projects.
