Project Manager Role Overview

RPS is part of the Tetra Tech Group, a global professional services firm that defines, designs and manages projects to solve complex issues. With an established client-side project management consulting business in Australia Asia Pacific, RPS has over 400 project management staff.

The Project Manager role involves leadership, ownership, scope, collaboration, autonomy and challenge delivery with valued clients. This exciting opportunity provides a chance to be part of our continued success, offering recognition and growth opportunities within a collaborative culture.

This role would suit a seasoned project management professional looking to take a key role in delivering infrastructure and building construction projects, as well as managing client relationships and line management teams.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

You will hold a tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or construction management, and have:

  • 10+ years project management experience
  • Experience in client-side project management across Defence or Energy projects
  • Demonstrated recent project experience involving buildings and construction.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management and collaboration
  • A strong understanding of contract administration, design management and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication, leadership and time management skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Australian citizenship and holding or obtaining a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance
