Transmission Line Design Specialist is responsible for overseeing the design phase of large-scale transmission projects.
This key position will facilitate regular updates, reviews, and communication to ensure design objectives align with project specifications and client expectations.
Collaborating closely with internal teams of engineers and design professionals, you will set clear expectations, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative environment to achieve project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design phase of major transmission projects, overseeing the development of transmission lines from conceptual design to final delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, facilitating regular updates, reviews, and communication to ensure design objectives align with project specifications and client expectations.
- Ensure all design outputs meet the highest technical standards and comply with relevant regulations, codes, and industry best practices.
- Liaise with internal teams of engineers and design professionals, setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project deliverables.
Required Skills:
- A strong background in transmission line design, ideally with experience managing the design for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on experience with PLS CADD and/or PLS TOWER, with the ability to lead a team in the use of these tools to achieve precise and reliable design outcomes.
- Proven experience in managing client relationships and interfacing with stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical deliverables, project timelines, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil / Structural Engineering, or related field.
