Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Executive to lead our Specialty Solutions team in Australia. This is an exceptional opportunity to scale growth across complex, high-risk and regulated industries.

  • The role involves providing strategic direction of a combined national portfolio across M&A, Cyber, Trade Credit, Surety and Financial Institutions.
  • You will lead and collaborate with Specialty business leaders to drive revenue growth and profitability in priority clients and segments.
  • This includes identifying market opportunities, emerging risks and growth areas, driving innovation in product, service and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement segment strategies with the National Leadership Team, Global & Corporate and the CCO.
  2. Embed operational standard methodology, including Delivering Aon United (DAU) and Aon Client Leadership (ACL) models.
  3. Lead matrix coordination and tackle customer concerns within the segment.
  4. Align the People Strategy to business outcomes: goal setting and PMA reviews, colleague engagement, talent and succession, remuneration, and development planning.

Requirements:

  • Entrepreneurial bias for action; growth and improvement approach; strong commercial competence.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills; advanced partner management across clients, markets and internal leaders.
  • Excellent presentation and communication; adaptability, resilience and flexibility; humility, empathy and an open-minded approach.
  • Background in specialty insurance or adjacent financial/professional services leading multi-disciplinary teams.
