Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced NDT Technician to join our team for ongoing work in Darwin. The primary role involves site work within the region.

About the Job

The successful candidate will conduct NDT inspections, manage project deliverables, and provide technical advice to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct radiographic testing of pipelines using PCN Level 2 or AINDT Level 2 qualifications
  • Perform magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, and ultrasonic testing as required
  • Manage project deliverables, including completing high-quality NDT worksheets and reports
  • Provide technical advice to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently

Requirements

  • PCN Level 2 or AINDT Level 2 radiographic testing qualification
  • Magentic Particle Testing PCN Level 2 or AINDT Level 2 qualification
  • Liquid Penetrant Testing PCN Level 2 or AINDT Level 2 qualification
  • Ultrasonic Testing PCN Level 2 (3.1, 3.2, Welds) - desirable
  • Northern Territory Radiation Safety Licence
  • IRATA Rope Access Qualifications (any level)
  • Working at Heights certification
  • Confined Space Entry training
  • Gas Test Atmospheres certification
  • 4WD Driver Training

Desirable Experience

  • Aptitude and ability to work on-site unaided in various industrial environments
  • Proven experience in completing high-quality NDT worksheets and reports
  • Experience in CUI inspection using Go scan C-View unit
  • Experience in using and maintaining JME crawlers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
