AUT Inspector

We are seeking an experienced AUT Inspector to join our team for a 12-month contract with potential extension.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the quality of welds in accordance with qualified procedures, ensuring productivity targets are met.
• Carry out NDT inspections interpreting related results (AUT, MUT, MT).
• Follow supervisor instructions and maintain open communication with client representatives.
• Coordinate daily activities and instruct changes in daily production, safety, and quality functions.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or breakdowns to the AUT Supervisor.
• Ensure all activities follow approved procedures and guidelines.
• Coordinate reporting functions and liaise with QC on a shift-by-shift basis.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in AUT, manual UT, and/or MT.
• AUT competence preferable on Pipe wizard, but other AUT systems considered as well.
• Mandatory: ISO 9712 L2 or 3 in UT and ASNT L2 or L3 in AUT.
• Added value: ISO 9712 L2 or 3 in MT and AUT.
• Knowledge of NDT and AUT equipment and techniques; capability to set up equipment and NDT stations.
