Part-Time Bus Driver and Groundskeeper Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate part-time bus driver and groundskeeper to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with seniors, has excellent communication skills, and is comfortable with routine driving duties.

Job Summary:

  • Drive residents on scheduled bus trips to local places of interest and assist with luggage and shopping as needed.
  • Perform general groundskeeping tasks, including ensuring resident bins are put out for rubbish collection each week.
  • Assist residents and community leaders with ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Valid LR drivers license (preferred).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate (required or willing to obtain prior to commencement).
  • Current police check (required; Aveo can facilitate this process).
  • Professional attitude with empathy towards residents' needs.
  • Current COVID-19 vaccinations.
