The Logistics Coordinator will be part of the team responsible for transportation operations, working closely with external carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of outbound deliveries. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with on-time pickup and on-time delivery, as well as providing value-stream level visibility to load status.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all outbound deliveries are executed on-time, considering defined cut-offs and service level adherence.
  • Act as the single point of contact for external carriers, liaising with them on indent acceptance and tendering through the carrier portal.
  • Monitor and assist dock scheduling to ensure proper utilization of warehouse resources.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to honour appointments taken through the carrier portal.
  • Ensure first-time right vehicle placement, adhering to standard norms for dimension and vehicle quality.
  • Capture shipment end date and time, basis PoD acknowledgement.
  • Coordinate with carriers to accept FSD, if not done, and assist the Freight Settlement Coordinator with issue resolution.
  • Support timely and correct bill submissions by carriers for payment processing.
  • Participate in operational review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives of the transportation operation process.
  • Provide 360 visibility on the status of open outbound deliveries to units and internal team leads.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in physical logistics is highly regarded.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and Outlook.
  • Experience in SAP and Transport Management System.
  • Proficient in communicating with all stakeholders.
