Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Visy. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating daily movements, overseeing container operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily movements and oversee container operations while maintaining effective stakeholder relationships
  • Accurately manage client container arrivals and departures (loaded/unloaded)
  • Manage container inventory through regular stock take reports
  • Setup Rail/Road manifests according to loading schedules
  • Communicate daily run statuses and changes to internal teams
  • Promptly notify clients of changes to minimize operational impacts
  • Maintain accurate records in Container Chain and internal databases
  • Ensure timely receipt of shipping documents and process goods receipts
  • Generate management reports and perform data entry tasks

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Wharf Cartage or Container Management is a must
  • Previous Allocating, Planning or Scheduling experience using CoR
  • Proficiency in Logistics & TMS software – Preferably Container Chain
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Analytical and data driven mindset
