We are seeking experienced consultants to assist the Australian Defence Force with their procurement needs. As a Defence Project Manager, you will work closely with our clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Horsell, a 100% Australian, family and veteran owned professional services business. We are looking for high-performing consultants with experience in the Defence industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understanding of Defence capabilities and One Defence Capability System (formerly known as The Capability Life Cycle)
  • Program and Product Management Services and Support
  • Project Management Services and Support
  • Project Risk and Issue Management
  • Project Schedule Management
  • Procurement Methodologies, Contracting Options and Tender Development (ASDEFCON)
  • Procurement Evaluation Support
  • Contract Management and Contract Performance
  • Defence Administration Support
  • A formal project management qualification is essential.

You will work mostly on-site with our Defence clients, following their task direction and ensuring your work is delivered according to agreed schedules. However, you will always be supported by the greater Horsell team, who have many years of experience in delivering similar work, ensuring you are never alone.
