Job Description

As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will play a key role in preparing annual financial statements, management accounts and other ad-hoc financial reporting. This involves posting through eFront/Navision and Excel final bookkeeping entries required to produce financial reporting and perform year end ledger close-down procedures.

You will also assist with the bookkeeping of more complex client structures as required. Additionally, you will liaise with appointed auditors to complete the audit of financial statements in accordance with defined timetables.

The role requires strong accounting skills and experience in the funds environment. You will work closely with other members of the Client Reporting Team to provide additional bookkeeping and administrative assistance as may from time to time be requested.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold or be working towards an appropriate accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA/ACA). Financial Services Industry and/or Accounting/Auditing experience within or with exposure to the funds environment is considered essential.

A qualified or part-qualified accountant with significant experience of preparing funds accounts would be highly regarded. Comprehensive knowledge of current IFRS and UK/US GAAP reporting and experience in accounting for a range of funds structures is also desirable.

Experience with eFront, Navision and Value Financials would be an added advantage.
