Job Description

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Intellectual Property specialty team. The ideal candidate will have experience in private practice or in-house and be proficient in tools like Jira, Slack and Google Workspace.

The successful candidate will have a strong desire to solve problems and make complex things simple. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to think proactively.

This role will involve monitoring internal communication channels for legal requests, undertaking trademark clearance searches and assisting with reviewing brand protection vendors' reports.

The successful candidate will also develop and maintain legal resources such as presentations, playbooks and templates. They will partake in legal research and monitor legal and policy developments.

In addition, they will support the day-to-day operations of the team, including digital filing, document management, coordinating electronic signatures and preparing presentation materials.

Experience with trade mark and/or patent management software is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience as a Paralegal gained from a private practice firm or in-house.
  • Tech savviness and experience with tools like Jira, Slack and Google Workspace.
  • A desire to be proactive, solve problems and make complex things simple.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with trade mark and/or patent management software.
