We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Manager/Senior Manager to join our growing Mergers and Acquisitions team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, managing a small cohesive team, and reporting directly to our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Advisory - End-to-end M&A and lead IPO execution, including target list, databook, and information memorandum preparation, financial due diligence, and data room management.
  • Work across sell-side, buy-side, capital raising, and strategic advice.
  • Management of project deliverables and adherence to transaction timeframes.
  • Manage, develop, and work collaboratively with junior members of the team.
  • Build and manage client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Assist with deal origination and the preparation of proposals, engagements, and pitch documents.
Requirements
  • A degree in Business, Commerce, Law, or Economics (CA/CFA favorable).
  • 3-5 years' experience in M&A within a top-tier/mid-tier accounting firm, investment bank, or boutique advisory firm.
  • Experience in preparing information memoranda, databooks, proposals, and other marketing documents.
  • Experience in managing multiple M&A projects from end to end.
  • Strong analytical and critical evaluation skills.
  • Ability to meet and work towards deadlines.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and commercially insightful.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team.
  • Strong ethical standards.
