We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As an experienced professional in this field, you will be responsible for providing expert care and support to individuals who have sustained physical and/or psychological injuries.
Your primary goal will be to facilitate the rehabilitation process, enabling clients to recover and return to work. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans, focusing on the individual's needs and goals.
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical reasoning skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to engage effectively with stakeholders. A strong passion for helping people rehabilitate is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
You will be working on-base at RAAF Base Richmond, enjoying early starts and finishes (7:30am – 3:30pm). This opportunity offers a genuine work-life balance, with no overtime or outside-of-hours work expected.
The ideal candidate will hold current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA or AASW) and possess tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work. Australian Citizenship is also required.
