Thumbnail Designer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Thumbnail Designer to join our team. As a Thumbnail Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging thumbnails that accurately represent video content.

You will work closely with content creators, videographers, and editors to ensure thumbnails meet branding and content objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conceptualizing thumbnail ideas in collaboration with content creators
  • Utilizing graphic design software to create visually appealing thumbnails optimized for various devices and screen sizes
  • Selecting compelling images from video footage or photoshoots and enhancing them as needed
  • Incorporating legible text elements into thumbnail designs
  • Maintaining brand consistency through adherence to branding guidelines

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 1-2+ years of experience creating IRL thumbnails and utilizing Photoshop
  • Evidence of previous high-quality Minecraft builds and designs
  • Strong understanding of visual design principles, including composition and color theory
  • Proficiency in creating various thumbnail styles
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members
