Electoral Leadership Role

We are seeking a Deputy Electoral Commissioner to join our team and bring exceptional leadership skills to drive the strategic direction of our organisation.

The appointee will be responsible for implementing organisational change across various disciplines, providing executive leadership and management in the delivery of complex electoral events, operational activities and technology modernisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and driving organisational change
  • Providing executive leadership and management
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships and partnerships

To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification in business, public administration or law, and a proven ability to operate with the highest levels of ethical behaviour, honesty, integrity and respect.

The Deputy Electoral Commissioner will exercise all delegated powers in the absence of the Electoral Commissioner.

This is a rare opportunity to make a significant impact on the electoral process and work with a dedicated team to ensure the integrity and transparency of our elections.

Key qualifications and experience required:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business, public administration or law
  • Proven experience leading a complex organisation at an executive level
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
