Make a Difference as a Playgroup Volunteer

The playgroup is a vital community resource, fostering connections and strengthening relationships between families. Our dedicated Aboriginal Resource Worker leads the group, catering to children aged 0-4 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the playgroup leader in creating a nurturing environment for children
  • Ensure a smooth sign-in process and gather feedback from attendees
  • Contribute to maintaining kitchen cleanliness and assisting with morning tea service
  • Help set up and pack down equipment after each session
  • Engage children through singing songs or playing music
  • Create an inviting reading corner for young minds
  • Share knowledge and skills with children, promoting their development
  • Participate in nature-based activities that stimulate curiosity and exploration
