About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Security Co-worker to join our team at IKEA. As a key member of our store operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers, employees, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage visitor and contractor access to the store, providing administrative support with tasks such as audits, incident reporting, and database management.
  • Monitor and review CCTV footage, conduct investigations, and respond quickly and efficiently to alarms and emergencies.
  • Assist in ensuring the store is compliant with all IKEA and local rules, guidelines, and legislative requirements.
Requirements
  • Current valid security license and first aid certificate, or a willingness and ability to obtain these licenses.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and clear in emergency situations.
  • Proven ability to multitask and handle ad hoc tasks while maintaining daily responsibilities.
