
Optimizing Registry Operations Specialist

About the Role:
The Senior Registry Process Advisor plays a key role in optimizing registry operations and improving overall efficiency within the Children's Court of Victoria (ChCV). As a specialist and dedicated court, we focus on responding to the particular needs and interests of children, young people, and their families. This position will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop complex process maps, templates, process guides, and other materials as required. The successful candidate will provide authoritative advice on Court practices, procedures, and relevant legislation to senior management groups and judiciary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and auditing the effectiveness of ChCV registry processes and practices to facilitate continuous improvement
- Developing structured communication plans for registry staff to ensure compliance with practice directions and legislative requirements
- Collaborating with subject matter experts, senior managers, and staff in the development of materials
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A Certificate IV in Government (Court Services) or equivalent is essential. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of Victorian Courts and Tribunals and proven experience in process review and business improvement initiatives. They should be able to synthesise ideas and concepts, work collaboratively with others, and possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
