Operational Asset Leader Role

Oversee the maintenance of critical assets to ensure optimal performance at cost-effective levels within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings on equipment and services.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership to the team, identifying and recommending updates or replacements for outdated plant and equipment.
  • Develop and manage asset maintenance budgets, ensuring operations stay within budgetary limits.
  • Recruit, train, and lead the Maintenance team effectively, maintaining consistent communication with Meat Processing Managers.
  • Report incidents in compliance with company policies and contribute to key business initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualifications and extensive experience in managing effective maintenance programs in large-scale operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising and training teams, excellent communication skills, and proactive approach.
  • Strong time management skills, computer literacy, and ability to positively influence team behavior.
