About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Maintenance Specialist to join our Customer Service Operations team at E80 Group S.p.a. Based in Melbourne, this role will require approximately 70% travel within the region and 30% nationwide.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, modifying, upgrading, and performing preventive checks on various machines installed at our clients' sites. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining all E80 system components running smoothly through regular inspections and maintenance;
  • Performing corrective maintenance or troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on machines;
  • Calibrating or configuring individual machines or devices;
  • Handling partial or complete upgrades or modifications on outdated systems;
  • Preparing reports and spare parts lists after completing work;
  • Monitoring the E80 system's performance, reporting any problems or issues to the appropriate managers.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A technical qualification in the electromechanical field or industrial automation;
  • Proven experience as an electrical, electromechanical, or service technician in automation or manufacturing environments;
  • Strong skills in reading and interpreting electrical and hydraulic schematics, as well as mechanical drawings;
  • Experience with Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, and/or FANUC control systems would be a bonus;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and independently;
  • Flexibility, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work under pressure.
