Senior Asset Management Officer

The City of Joondalup is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Asset Management Officer to support the Asset Management Services Business Unit in implementing the City's Asset Management Strategy.

  • Provide financial valuation and reporting of infrastructure assets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Data management and maintenance of infrastructure assets, utilizing relevant systems and processes.
  • Statutory and City reporting of infrastructure assets, meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Support the development of the annual 5 Year Capital Works Program, collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Document strategic asset management systems and processes, promoting best practices.

This role requires strong customer service and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with asset and works management processes. Prior experience in strategic asset management, municipal infrastructure, and Local Government will be highly regarded.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, Spatial Sciences, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Comprehensive experience in developing, maintaining, analysing and reporting on assets, work, and/or financial inventories and datasets.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounting and valuation processes and standards for infrastructure assets.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining strategic asset management, work management and/or geographic information systems and datasets.
  • Demonstrated experience in local government legislative, statutory and corporate reporting requirements.
  • Industry accreditation in Strategic Asset Management, Infrastructure Planning, Asset Financial Management, or equivalent experience.
