Job Description

The primary goal is to establish and operational test audio/communications facilities on field or studio projects. This involves setting up and ensuring all audio communication facilities in and around the OB compound are functioning and patched to be operationally ready by hand-over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the project's Audio Director and Technical Manager to ensure full briefing on size, scope, production schedule of in-field audio and communications facilities required.
  • Maintain a neat and tidy environment for audio and communications facilities, professionally presented and safe for public and co-workers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Fundamental knowledge of Riedel and RTS communications systems, similar devices, and LAWO and Calrec audio consoles.
  • Operational experience and understanding of these devices at an engineering level.
  • Experience in television broadcasting, preferably 3 years.
