Aircraft Maintenance Technician Role Overview

Join us in a dynamic team where you will be working as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer within Engine & Component Maintenance Services.

  • As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will carry out C checks on a range of engines including the CFM56-7, CF6-80E1, and CF6-80C2, as well as applicable Auxiliary Power Units (APUs).

Job Responsibilities
  • Remove and install Quick Engine Change (QEC) and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs)
  • Perform full borescope inspections of engines and APUs
  • Remove, inspect, and install fan blades
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics), or the ability to successfully transfer your qualifications through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process
  • Experience working directly with engines; experience with CF6-80E1, CF6-80C2, and CFM56-7 is advantageous
  • Relevant aircraft maintenance trade experience in an engine shop environment
  • Extensive aircraft servicing experience across various aircraft types (advantageous)
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures
  • Commitment to safe working practices and service standards
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Demonstrated high ethical standards and self-discipline
  • Ability to work shift work (day and night shifts)
