Job Title: Spare Parts Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Spare Parts Coordinator to oversee the planning and procurement of spare parts, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing machine downtime.
This role involves maintaining safety stock levels, authorizing MRP processes, and contributing to ERP system improvements for automation.
The coordinator will work closely with maintenance supervisors, planners, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and execution of operational projects and stock takes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with key personnel to develop a mutually beneficial relationship to monitor critical spares requirements.
- Maintain proper levels of spares as per our stocking policy.
- Purchase, negotiate, and procure spares as required by business.
- Manage the Navision system.
- Supervise supplier relationships and freight management.
- Chase payments and assist in forward payment planning.
- Accurately maintain trackers for incoming spares.
- Analyse, reconcile, and update stock takes for all spares and critical spares.
- Participate in operational improvement projects, i.e., consolidating spares in a central location.
About You
You bring a strong background in procurement and inventory management, ideally with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
You possess solid knowledge of ERP systems, demand planning, and supplier management.
Proactive and customer-focused mindset to support continuous improvement initiatives.
