We're seeking a seasoned AI Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing foundational AI Platform capabilities that empower our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and architecting large-scale AI infrastructure systems
  • Leading cross-team initiatives to develop and refine dataset and training capabilities
  • Building and maintaining high-performance distributed data processing and training systems
  • Driving technical strategy discussions and influencing engineering practices
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical culture and standards
  • Solving complex technical challenges spanning multiple parts of the ML stack

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of experience building and scaling AI infrastructure systems
  • Hands-on experience in distributed training, model lifecycle management, and large-scale data processing
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing AI/ML infrastructure
  • Experience setting technical direction and influencing engineering practices
  • Strong understanding of distributed computing, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure
  • Fluency in Python with deep knowledge of ML frameworks and modern tools
  • Strong understanding of generative AI systems, including LLMs, multimodal models, and foundation model fine-tuning
  • Ability to balance long-term platform investments with immediate business needs
  • Experience working with product teams, research, and other engineering specialties
  • Track record of growing other engineers and contributing to technical culture and standards
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and performance optimisation
