Clinical Psychologist - Positive Behaviour Support

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in the field of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who wants to work across various age groups and client presentations, diagnoses, and disability types.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement PBS plans to increase quality of life by improving skills and enhancing independence.
  • Assess and observe challenging behaviours, and introduce replacement behaviours to reduce restrictive practices.
  • Form close bonds with clients over a period of months or years, celebrating their achievements and contributing to their personal growth and development.

Requirements

  • Degree in Psychology or related field.
  • Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, mental health conditions, or other complex needs.
