Leadership Role in Senate Support Services

The successful candidate will lead the teams responsible for the Senate Attendant and Senate Print Room and Delivery Services. This requires strong experience in coaching and leading teams, setting priorities and managing workflows.
Responsibilities include developing, implementing and reviewing policies and procedures related to departmental security, business continuity and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). The occupant must have an understanding of the Commonwealth Security environment and policies, as well as the ability to write well.
Additional responsibilities include drafting and updating standard operating procedures relevant to the section's work, contributing to the broader Australian Parliament House security environment through contribution to the review and drafting of APH security policy and procedures relevant to the Senate, and performing certain ceremonial and security-related duties in the Senate chamber as an assistant Usher of the Black Rod.
