As Data Engineering Lead, you will play a key role in shaping our insurance data assets and collaborating with cross-functional teams on big data projects. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the insurance data asset and contribute to its development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain insurance data assets, including data warehouses, data lakes, and pipelines
  • Ensure data accuracy and availability for analysis and decision-making
  • Leverage advanced knowledge of ETL processes and AWS tools/infrastructure
  • Enhance and optimize insurance data assets for better insights and outcomes
  • Provide regular data reports and address ad hoc data requests
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on various projects and initiatives
  • Merge rich safety data with insurance dataset to uncover new insights and opportunities
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of General Insurance and insurance regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Experience with AWS data technologies (EC2, EMR, S3, Redshift, EKS, Glue) and infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of reporting and dashboarding tools (Tableau, Hex, PowerBI)
  • Experience with Linux and database systems (Postgres)
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, query optimization, and data modeling
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), Agile development, DevOps (Terraform), CI/CD frameworks and technologies
